The Government of West Bengal launched Gatidhara Prakalpa to reduce the number of unemployment in West Bengal.

Key Features of the Scheme:
✓ The maximum project cost for the purchase of small and medium vehicle must not be more than Rs.10,00,000.
✓ The State Government financially supports the applicant upto 30 % of vehicle cost or upto Rs. 1,00,000 as subsidy.
✓ The bank approves the entrepreneur a term loan of 65% of the project cost.
✓ The applicant should contribute the remaining 5% of the project cost as margin money.
✓ The rate of interest will be at par with that of the similar schemes being introduced by the Government of West Bengal.
✓ The repayment period of the loan is 5 to 7 years.
Eligibility Criteria for Gatidhara Scheme:
Before applying for Gatidhara Prakalpa applicants should read all the information carefully. Here is the eligibility criteria for the scheme.
✓ The applicants should be the permanent resident of West Bengal.
✓ The applicant’s age must be between 20 to 45 years. Age relaxation is available as per govt rules. SC/ST – 5 years and OBC- 3 years.
✓ The monthly income of applicant’s family must not be more than Rs.25,000/-.
✓ The applicant must have a commercial driving license.
✓ The applicants who have applied for a loan under BSKP or USKP or any other are also eligible.
✓ Only one applicant per family will be eligible for Gatidhara Prakalpa.
✓ The applicants who are getting Yuvashree Prakalpa are also eligible for Gatidhara Prakalpa.
How to apply for Gatidhara Prakalpa?
If you full fill the above eligibility criteria you can apply for the scheme. Just you need to follow the following procedure.
Step #1: Fill in Application form with necessary information. Application form PDF link is given below.
Step #2: Attach the application form with required documents mentioned below.
Step #3: Submit the application form with required documents to the office of SDO and in case of Kolkata Municipal Corporation area the application form should be submitted to the office of Joint Director of Employment, Kolkata District at Purta Bhaban, Salt Lake.

✓ Photocopy of Commercial Valid Driving license.
✓ Domicile certificate as a proof for residence
✓ Unemployment certificate
✓ A photocopy of age proof
✓ Income certificate from the respective authority.
✓ Caste certificate
✓ Passport size photograph
✓ Project report
✓ Affidavit as per Annexure-II
