Lokprasar Prakalpa or Shilpi Bhata is a scheme launched by chief minister Mamata Banerjee to revive the culture of the state. It is a West Bengal Govt Scheme. The beneficiary will get the benefits of the scheme. The folk artists will get this benefits. They have to apply for this scheme offline.

Shilpi Bhata is a another name of lokprasar Prakalpa. Shilpi means music artists. Here is folk artists of West Bengal. The West Bengal government launched this scheme or prakalpa for the folk artists of West Bengal. The scheme has been launched to help the folk artists of the state with some financial help. Thousand of folk artists of West Bengal have already applied for the scheme. If you are a folk artists, you can also apply for this.

Objective of the scheme Lokprasar Prakalpa

The objective of the scheme is to support the folk artists and to revive the folk culture of West Bengal. West Bengal is a cultural state and Kolkata is a cultural city. So, Mamata Banerjee announced this Shilpi Bhata. Many folk artists can not continue their music practice due to financial condition. Even many artists leave their dream because of poverty. So, the government took a decision to save the folk artists and also to revive the folk culture of West Bengal.

Benefits of Shilpi Bhata or Lokprasar Prakalpa

After submitting application form the authority will shortlist  the names. Then the beneficiary will get financial assistance of one thousand rupees per month. 

Lokprasar Prakalpa Application

The applicants from different district of West Bengal should contact  DICO or  SDICO for application.
Or They can visit GP/BDO office for application form and other details.

Applicant Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicants must be the resident of West Bengal.
2. Their age must be between 18 to 60 years.
3. They have to perform.
