Viklang Pension  is a scheme for Disabled or Handicapped person. This Viklang Pension Yojana was introduced by The Nation Social Assistant Programme (NSAP) administered by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.
Under the Viklang Pension Scheme handicapped or Divyang persons are given financial assistance so that they don’t depend on others. This is a good initiative by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.

Viklang Pension Yojana

The Nation Social Assistant Programme (NSAP) administered by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India launched Viklang Pension Scheme for Disabled person. All the handicapped persons who have more than 40% disability come under this scheme.

The main objective behind the scheme is that the Viklang or handicapped person can be self dependant and so that they don’t need to relay on none.
They will be given five hundred rupees per month.
Viklang or Divyang persons can get this benefits if they apply for Viklang Pension Yojana. To avail this benefit the person should have some eligibility criteria, required documents etc.

Viklang Pension Eligibility

To avail Viklang Pension Yojana the applicants should have some eligibility criteria. These eligibility criteria for Viklang or Divyang Scheme is given below.

✓ Any disabled or handicapped person can apply for Viklang Pension Yojana but they should have a certificate of disability.
✓ The percentage of disability must be more than 40% . The certificate of disability must be certified by Chief Medical Officer, Community Health Center etc.
✓ If the applicant is getting any other pension scheme , he or she will not get Viklang Pension.
✓ Monthly income of the disabled person should be less than Rs. 1000.
