Facilities under West Bengal Health Scheme

  • As per this scheme beneficiaries will get cashless indoor treatment up to Rs. 100000/- in empanelled hospital per indoor.
  • In case of treatment is done in non empanelled hospitals 60% (80% where a number of bed is more than 80) of approved Cost or the actual amount paid whichever is less
  • Beneficiaries will get reimbursement of indoor treatment to exceed one lakh based on a claim to DDO/PSA
  • Beneficiaries will also get reimbursement of OPD treatment cost incurred during the period of thirty days for the same cause for which indoor treatment is taken
  • Reimbursement for certain specific disease OPD treatment will also be provided
  • Beneficiaries will also get reimbursement for certain specified follow-up treatment cost also
  • Beneficiaries will get Reimbursement of cost of treatment in certain Speciality Hospitals outside the State.

Employee Registration Procedure for West Bengal Health Scheme

To register as an employee, you must follow the steps below:

  • With the help of laptop / computer and working internet connection you need to open the West Bengal Health Scheme, the official portal of the Ministry of Finance, Government of West Bengal
  • You need to go to the “online enrollment” option from the home page of the website
  • A dropdown list will appear on the screen where you need to select “Govt. Employee ”option.
Employee Registration Procedure for West Bengal Health Scheme
  • A new page will appear on the screen where you need to enter the date you entered in Service and if you have PRAN / G.P.F No. then you must enter the number.
  • Click “OK” and the application form will appear on the screen. You will need to enter details such as district, date of birth, name, gender, marital status, mobile number, email id, address, ID proof, office location. , Section name etc. .
  • Upload your photo and signature in 10KB to 50KB format JPEG format
  • Upload other documents (if any) and review the details you entered
  • Click on Submit option to submit application form.

Registration Procedure For Pensioner

To register as a pensioner, you need to follow these steps:

  • With the help of laptop / computer and working internet connection you need to open the Health Scheme Portal of the Ministry of Finance, Government of West Bengal.
  • You need to go to the “Online Enrolment” option from the home page of the website
  • A dropdown list will appear on the screen where you need to select “Govt Pensioner ”option.
Registration Procedure For Pensioner

  • A new page appear on the screen where you need to choose you to have P.P.O. No. or not if yes then you have to enter the number.
  • Then click on “OK” and the application form will appear on the screen in which you have to enter the details like district, date of birth, name, gender, mobile number, email id, address proof, retirement date. Department name, last office position etc.
  • Upload your photo and signature in 10KB to 50KB format JPEG format
  • Upload other documents (if any) and review the details you entered
  • Click on Submit option to submit application form.
