West Bengal had a total of 279 constituencies in the 1971 General Assembly elections. Of these total assembly seats, 55 seats are for Scheduled Caste candidates, 16 seats are for Scheduled Tribes candidates and the remaining 208 seats are for General Category candidates. To download the voter list issued by the Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal, applicants should follow the procedure given below.
  • To download the voter list, interested individuals should visit the official website of the WB Election Commission
  • From the home page of the website, you should find the “Electoral Roll(Voter List)” option available in the center of the page.
  • Click on it and a new page will appear on the computer screen, now select your district name from the list.
  • Then select your Assembly constituency name (AC name) and a new column will appear.
